After the arrival of this year‘s first eggs to our hatching container on the Danube island two weeks ago a lot has changed. In the beginning, growth, movement and the yolk make the larvae look a lot like tadpoles and less like mighty sturgeons.

This years´ board meeting of the World Sturgeon Conservation Society took place in Oggebbio. All members before elected the manager of the LIFE Sterlet Project into the board as treasurer.

The season has started and our new team is ready to go. For the first months of hatching we get support from Svenja, Robin, Sophie, Sandra, Christopher and Christina.
New master and bachelor theses are also being developed and in the making.
